2009 is here.

2008 was a journey. I've grown, I'm sure.
It was nice to know I am stronger than before. Mentally. Plus, it was a full of injuries year.
January was a great start.
February was bitter.
March was really disappointing.
April was relaxing.
May was frustrating but satisfying.
June was smooth sailing
July was a relieve.
August was fun fun fun, more fun.
September was bittersweet.
October was busy.
November was painful and tiring.
December ended well.
Sneakers Annual Dinner this year was fun, especially since youth put up a performance - a loosely translated "tian mi mi" song. Would be a lot more fun with Niki and Sha; then we'll have the full team down.. For once. Daisy Tan was something to be proud of for youth since we were the youngest team in Top 8 + we won Swoosh in extra time. We played really hard, and I'm really thankful for Youth.
Played my first ENL under Speed. Thank you seniors for bringing us thus far. Lost the finals but the experience is something I can get no where else. BTW, Ace triumph again!
Adidas Challenge where eveyrbody helped out. Youth was gathered back for a game with Warwick. So nice to see all of them again!
Lastly, Internal League in NINI.

Really grateful for this team. I think we've fought really hard throughout the year on our own, and we've brought ourselves further. There were disappointments, but we stayed strong for each other.

Highlight of year 2 was handing in MM 3 days late but still getting an A! and making XPS do sth bad HAHA Going to anatomy lab for lessons was way fun! Ended year 2 sem 1, but had no guts to check my results.
The best thing SA'07 had done was sabo hawker fare. They damn rude and idiotic when they say "once in a while got cockroach ok one" HAHA Neigh wrote to NEA. See lah, teach you to be nice and say sorry for unhygienic food. A few of us played floorball with the seniors (Stella's batch) - damn fun and got show to see when they quarrel with the current year 3s :/x
We had class bbq to mark the end of yr 1, gathering with the class girls before school starts, LALA's birthday BBQ where we attacked them with waterbombs, post exams after yr 2 sem 1 and class chalet (reassure, nobody got drunk and talk nonsense this yr)
The funniest thing was I was one of the chosen few for SW photoshoot -.- laugh out loud please.

When I got the TEP grouping, I must admit I was damn sad because Neigh, Hash, Lala and Akid all in the other group. I'm really glad I'm in this group now, probably a blessing in disguise then. I was damn doubtful of myself when I took up Standard Chartered.
14 events. Street soccer, Great Eastern, Osim Tri, Salomon X-trail, (didn't go for Farhan's event cus of POL-ITE), SAFYC 30k midnight cycling, CSC Swim Meet, SW Bonding Day, Adidas Run '4' Love, Youth Comm Day, Tamp Ole, AWWA, Regatta and Standard Chartered.
Regatta was an eye opener to see what Dragon Boat races are held and is like, even more interesting to see NYPDB row and achieve results :D Regatta was also a great catch up session with Elmo Toh! :D

CNY was like a thousand reunion dinners. Ok, I'm exaggerating but it was not just 2 reunion dinners. Yes I lost count. The dumbest thing was when I injured my knee while playing twister during CNY visit at 1st Uncle's house. I couldn't go for house visit at Lionel's and Hash's birthday celeb. Yes, the class did laughed about it for quite a while.
The furthest I went this year was probably Malacca in April for a short trip with Mum and Kota Tinggi before my exams. Yes bravo.
Grandma left us, hope she's resting in peace.

I had my share of good and bad personal time with hotshot which got me laughing like crazy and meteor garden which I shed tears like it's free. And HAKA craze! HAHA Thanks for a good birthday and had a really good Christmas :D
